Center for Creative Education
In collaboration with the Center for Creative Education in Kingston, New York, Pathways of Art organized a six-week series of free visual arts and percussion workshops in Spring 2026 for participants ages 8 and up.
Through weekly drum circles, participants became familiar with percussion instruments, explored Afro-Brazilian rhythms such as Samba Reggae and Ijexá, and learned basic music theory.
The visual arts workshops introduced a different medium each week, including potato stamping, air-dry clay, and paper cutouts. Participants were encouraged to experiment with new materials and ideas while exploring their own creative expression in a collaborative environment.
